ICTheatre Brighton Facilities
Our facilities are purpose-built for the highest standard of performing arts training.
It is said that someone needs 10,000 hours of practice to become perfect. At ICTheatre Brighton we provide our training professionals with the space to do just that.
Large studios with sprung flooring, full-length mirrors and sound systems, fully equipped rehearsal and music rooms as well as drama studio and a studio theatre, create a professional environment where the students can learn their craft to the best of their ability.
The Brighton campus of ICTheatre is spread across two sites. Vantage Point, based in the centre of Brighton, close to the lanes and the bustling London Road, comprises of several studios facilitating all disciplines with sprung flooring, vocal rooms and an intimate black box studio theatre.
As well as class time, our training professionals have open access to the studios for free private use from Monday – Friday. This allows students to hone their skills in their spare time.
The Circle Studios
Our second site is situated close to the seafront in Portslade, a short bus ride from the city centre. Here we have five large studios. The spaces have high ceilings and in some a sea view can be enjoyed through the huge windows which fill the space with light. All studios are fully equipped to deliver training to a very high standard: sprung flooring, ballet barres, wall mirrors, keyboards, digital equipment, sound systems, and a studio theatre.
On-site is the Circle Arts Centre which gives ICTheatre its own dedicated performance space and theatre. The huge studio complex also has luxury changing areas, showers, a spacious reception and a café.
ICTheatre utilises studios in the area to deliver extra dance classes: ICTheatre Marina Studios is based at the buzzy Brighton Marina, there we have three beautiful studios with sprung oak wooden flooring and mirrors (studios 2 & 3 equipped with ballet barres). We have also acquired a further building close to Vantage Point where delivery of acting for camera, performance for video games and motion capture work will take place. The third site will be ready in the new year and will offer students further opportunities to experience their training in a bespoke and contemporary setting.
