UCAS Clearing 2020

WHAT IS CLEARING?

Clearing is how universities and colleges fill any places they still have on their courses. For us, that means publicising whether our ICTheatre courses still have vacancies, and for you, it’s an ideal way to find another course if you aren’t totally satisfied with the current options you have in front of you.

HOW LONG DOES CLEARING LAST?

This year, ICTheatre’s Clearing will be available from 6th July until 20th October 2020 (spaces depending). If you already have your exam results, but no offers, you can use Clearing from July. If you’ve had conditional offers, but your exam results didn’t quite go according to plan, you can use Clearing on A-Level results day through the UCAS website.

If you’re feeling stressed or unsure of your decision, our admissions team are a phone call away to help you with any questions you have regarding UCAS clearing.

You can e-mail us at admissions@ictheatre.ac.uk or call 01273 603 333.

You can find more information on UCAS Clearing here.

At ICTheatre, you’ll experience opportunities unlike anywhere else. But we also understand that weighing up your university options involves other factors, such as:

  • Where you’ll be based
  • Meeting new people
  • Budgeting your money
  • Finding student accommodation

And we realise that these kinds of decisions can play on your mind. That’s why we’ve put together some guides and advice to make starting this chapter as stress-free and seamless as possible.

We want to make sure you’re not only clearing ready, but you’re ready to start your journey as a Training Professional too. Follow the links below to find out more.

OUR PLANS FOR SEPTEMBER

In these times of uncertainty, plans for our upcoming academic year are in movement. These have been challenging times. There isn’t a person in the world who hasn’t been touched by Covid 19 in one way or another. However we will come out of this, and when we do society will be more in need than ever of those amongst us who can lift spirits and morale through performance.

With this in mind, ICTheatre will continue delivering a training that is contemporary, rigorous and exciting. Read the full statement from our Founder and Creative Director, Mia Bird.

AFFORDABLE TRAINING

Our Degree offers people who may not be able to afford to pay the huge fees attached to many performing arts courses, an excellent training. More than this though, we also want to deliver a curriculum that enables students to develop entrepreneurial skills and to expand their knowledge of the industry as a whole. Find out more.

FINDING THE PERFECT ACCOMMODATION

Finding student accommodation can be a minefield. We’ve teamed up with Brighton Accommodation Agency to make sure our Training Professionals are getting the best deals in Brighton.

OUR NEW HOME IN MANCHESTER

We are excited to announce ICTheatre’s home in Manchester! We are proud to be linking with the prestigious Northern Ballet School.

The second campus of the Institute for Contemporary Theatre will make its home in The Dancehouse. The building occupies three floors of a 1930s Art Deco building on Manchester’s famous ‘student corridor’, Oxford Road, just a few minutes walk from the city centre and very close to our partner college BIMM Manchester. Northern Ballet School and ICTheatre will work side by side giving students unparalleled training in the high end, purpose-built spaces.
