Xena Gusthart ‘Bat out of Hell’ mock auditions

We’ve had the pleasure of Xena Gusthart join us at all three of our main campus’ over the last few months (ICTheatre Brighton, ICTheatre Manchester and Northern Ballet School).

Xena has been in-house hosting mock auditions and giving professional industry advice to our Training Professionals, with her last session in Brighton last week before she heads off to to Las Vegas to rehearse for Bat out of Hell in June.

‘Xena is a Broadway and West End choreographer living between New York and London. She choreographs, holds rehearsals and does castings for large stage shows and musicals.

Having reached the heights as a dancer working internationally she moved seamlessly into her choreographer role having always created pieces in jazz, pas-de-deux, hip-hop, contemporary and breaking & locking. She has also been sought out for television presenting and voice over work.’

Xena’s credits include dancing and choreographing for, Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Nike, Adidas, Bat Out Of Hell and Bodyguard The Musical amongst many others.

This has been an incredible experience for our TP’s to get first-hand experience of a professional audition set up, as well as receive advice straight from the stage. Xena’s knowledge has been admirable and we hope to see her back at ICTheatre in the future!
