Welcome Robin Belfield to ICTheatre

We are very excited to announce the appointment of Robin Belfield to the role of Principal Lecturer and Musical Theatre Coordinator at ICTheatre Brighton.

Born in The Bahamas, Robin is a theatre director, writer and educator with experience in making theatre of different scales and in a variety of settings – from Shakespeare to musical theatre.  He is passionate about developing new talent and prides himself on the collaborative nature of his working process.

As Young People’s Performance Developer for the Royal Shakespeare Company Robin developed and directed projects with young people all over England.  As part of this work, he established and led the RSC’s Next Generation initiative (working in partnership with several regional theatres) to deliver a successful national talent development programme.

Robin has also worked with the National Theatre, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, The Oxford School of Drama and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
