ICTheatre students take the stage in pantomime and live attractions this Christmas

6 December, 2023

The nights are drawing in, the lights are going up, and the man in the red suit is making his list, which can only mean one thing… Christmas is just around the corner.

The Christmas season brings with it another annual season – pantomime season, and our graduates are ready for it!

A great British tradition dating back hundreds of years, the pantomime industry is going from strength to strength as families everywhere sign up for their annual fairy-tale experience – and you’ll be able to catch some familiar ICTheatre faces around the UK.

ICTheatre Grads in panto this year

Here are just a few panto performers you can spot on stage this festive season:

Headshots of Cinderella Cast

Ellie Earl, Imogen Eden Brown, and Lena Tsavari are appearing in Brighton family pantomime’s Cinderella at Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, with Ellie in the lead role of Cinderella herself.

Maisie Wild, Mia Longman and Darcie Bennet - ICTheatre

Maisie Wild will be taking the role of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin at The Academy Theatre, Barnsley, Mia Longman will also be portraying Princess Jasmine at the Marina theatre, Lowestoft, and Darcie Bennet will be Dance Captain and Ensemble in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at the Hippodrome in Eastbourne.

ICTheatre grads in immersive theatre this Christmas

North Pole villages, Santa’s grottos and winter wonderlands are also springing up around the UK and delivering immersive themed experiences to old and young people alike.

You might recognise some ICTheatre students amongst the elves and colourful characters at your local winter attraction too – especially if you’re visiting Lapland, where there are at least six graduates making magic this season:

Filipe Ribeiro, Summer Twekesbury, Megan Prior, Hannah Semple, Joshua Davey and Kaiia Clarke - ICTheatre

We’re so thrilled to see so many students and graduates with exciting Christmas roles. It would take many more articles to highlight them all – a testament to the hard work and determination that all our graduates possess.

We’re so proud of every student with a role this Christmas, and are wishing you all the best – this will be a Christmas to remember!
