ICTheatre & Northern Ballet School perform and exhibit at Move It 2024

18 March, 2024

From Friday 15th March to Sunday 17th March 2024 the UK’s biggest dance event Move It 2024 took over ExCel London for three days of performances, masterclasses, exhibitors and more.

ICTheatre and Northern Ballet School were present throughout the weekend on stand 704, meeting and greeting some of the UK’s freshest talent, while students from both Brighton and Manchester campuses performed exclusive routines on the main stage and showcase stages.

Our Brighton campus performed The Journey choreographed by Munya Muchati, a contemporary fusion routine.

Representing Manchester, our ICTheatre students performed No Bad Vibes choreographed by Adele Inglis and Kenzie Allison, a contemporary hip hop piece, and Swing Set, a tap jazz fusion dance choreographed by Holly Rostron.

Northern Ballet School performed My Own Music, a musical theatre piece choreographed by Andrew Margerison and Encounters, a neo-classical ballet choreographed by Ryan Upton.

Sarah Mullan, Head of School at ICTheatre Brighton commented on our student performances.

“Well done to all our students for their outstanding performances, you did yourselves and ICTheatre proud. The professionalism, enthusiasm, and teamwork shown throughout the weekend by the students at Move It was truly commendable. You were wonderful ambassadors for ICTheatre”

Course Leader for our Trinity Diploma at Northern Ballet School Jackie Gray also commented:

“It was with great pleasure and pride that I watched all our students perform with elegance, style, sincerity, passion, energy and beautiful technique! Throughout the day everyone conducted themselves with professionalism and showed great teamwork. Well done NBS!

Congratulations and thanks to all students and staff who performed, attended and represented ICTheatre and Northern Ballet School through the weekend.
