Industry Connections
Developing a network is crucial to any successful creative, so at ICTheatre, our Training Professionals take regular workshops and masterclasses throughout their study. We are in the enviable position of having a roll call of leading industry connections from across the performing arts sector at our disposal.
For BA (Hons) Top-Up students and those who have progressed into the 3rd year, this engagement is ramped up when the focus becomes industry facing.
We aim to create a real-time professional environment inviting renowned industry-leading production teams to work with our TP’s. Recent examples include Franny Rafferty and Ed Burnside, Associate Directors of SIX and MATILDA, who directed the BA3 musicals for our most recent graduates.
Our Patrons are hands-on, regularly visiting to offer advice and industry opportunities. We also have casting directors and agents heading up the Professional Development module to make sure our TP’s are fully prepared to springboard into the industry.
