ICTheatre Brighton holds successful Agent Panel Day

15 April, 2024

ICTheatre recently welcomed an array of industry agents to our Brighton campus to discover some of the university’s hottest upcoming talent.

Across three rooms, third year Contemporary Musical Theatre and Acting for the 21st Century students performed for nine agents and casting directors. The students each had 10 minutes to perform a song, monologue or both, before the Contemporary Musical Theatre students performed dance pieces in small groups in one of our dance studios.

The day was a roaring success, with a record 38 agent approaches made to our final year students – now begins the meetings and negotiations!

Check out the video below to get a glimpse of what the day entailed:

We would like to thank all of these industry professionals for attending:

  • Desiree from Frank Holder Management
  • Gemma from GLS
  • Sam from Berrisford Hills
  • Olly Thompson from InterTalent
  • Naomi Jalil from Shaheen Baig’s office
  • Oliver Stanley and Sarah Lawn from Rosebery Management
  • Katy Markey from TBD
  • Mark Pollard from MR Management

Careers Manager for ICTheatre Brighton, Kirsty Yates, commented on the day:

“We are enormously grateful to all the agents and casting directors who gave their time so generously and provided such useful feedback. The students excelled themselves and as a result we received a record number of offers. It was a brilliant day and we are looking forward to more successes with our forthcoming London panel day and showcase at the Leicester Square Theatre on “6 June 2024. ”

Congratulations to all students who performed, and we wish them all the success in the world with their future career.
