Sarah Dickinson
NBS - Principal Lecturer, Ballet and Classical
Sarah oversees the Ballet Training of all Northern Ballet School students and heads the Classical Focus Pathway. She is also responsible for the delivery of the Contextual Studies programme. Sarah feels privileged to be part of the journey of our talented young artists as they prepare to enter the professional dance world. She strives to create a positive learning environment where they can thrive and gain the confidence needed to reach their full potential.
Sarah trained at the Hammond School and Royal Academy of Dance, where she was part of the first cohort to complete a degree in Classical Ballet. Sarah has a wealth of experience in the Performing Arts industry, having taught in many of the leading dance institutions in the U.K. With her substantial knowledge she understands exactly what is needed to produce elite artists and believes passionately in giving an education and voice to the next generation of dancers. Through her work as an External Examiner, International Lecturer, and Adjudicator, Sarah has travelled extensively.
