Jackie Grey
Course Leader - Diploma in Professional Dance NBS
Jackie is Course Leader at Northern Ballet School, Manchester, where she is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Trinity College London Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance, a course that prepares students for a career in either Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance, or Jazz and Musical Theatre.
Jackie’s whole career has been spent teaching vocational students preparing for a career in dance, or dance teaching, at NBS, and other vocational colleges in the North-West of England.
A Fellow of the Imperial Classical Ballet Faculty of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Jackie has examined for them since 1995 travelling extensively in the UK and worldwide, both examining students and delivering training and workshops to teachers and fellow examiners. As a member of the ICB Committee for 12 years, Jackie was privileged to be involved in the development of the faculty, particularly syllabus development in the graded, vocational, and professional examinations and qualifications.
