Holly Rostron

Principal Lecturer - Dance

Originally from Manchester, Holly is a Principal Lecturer and Body Module Coordinator. She currently teaches classes in tap, jazz and musical theatre dance styles at ICTheatre Manchester and works with students on their in-house projects, public performances and agent showcases. Choreography credits include - 'Into the Woods' for ICTheatre Manchester and ‘Changing Landscapes’ for Northern Ballet School.

After training at Bird College, Holly worked as a musical theatre performer for a decade, performing in the West End, regionally and internationally. Career highlights include ensemble/swing 'Top Hat' (Original West End and UK Tour cast) and performing the role of USO Dancer in Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.

Holly is passionate about delivering dance performance and technique classes to students, to help them develop the skills needed for today’s theatre industry.
