Emma Bramley

Principal Lecturer - Acting

Emma Bramley is a socially engaged theatre maker, director and facilitator with over 25 years experience making and creating work for, by and with communities.

She creates work that addresses social change using contemporary performance methodologies and applied theatre techniques. She works in collaboration with artists, organisations and communities to platform peoples lived experiences using verbatim, immersive theatre, cabaret, and contemporary theatre techniques.

She has worked in numerous education institutions lecturing and training practitioners in creative curriculum and teaching for creativity. She is the Artistic Director of a theatre company and continues to freelance mentoring new artists in fundraising, producing and theatre making.
