Linn recording artist, Claire Martin OBE has established herself as a tour de force on the UK jazz scene.
Claire has won the British Jazz awards eight times for best vocals and has been the proud recipient of the BASCA Gold Badge Award for her services to music.
In 2011 was awarded an OBE for her Services to Jazz. She is an a Linn recording artist with 21 recordings on the prestigious label, she performs worldwide with her trio and is a featured soloist with the Halle Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the John Wilson Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the BBC Big Band.
Claire has recorded with jazz legends Stephane Grappelli, Kenny Barron and Sir Richard Rodney Bennett. Jazz Times USA claims, "she ranks among the four or five finest female jazz vocalists on the planet" and Clive Davis at The Times said last year "Our finest jazz singer".
