Mykal Rand
Visiting Faculty / West End Performer & Choreographer
Mykal has had an impressive career to date, known for his leading roles in many West End musical theatre productions. Mykal joined the cast of Starlight Express when he was 17 years old. and has now been working professionally in the West End and all over the world for over 20 years.
He played the part of Collins in the original production of Rent. His director and choreographer credits include, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Starlight Express, Hair, Smokey Joe’s Café, Fame, Supernatural, Purlie, Grease, Passion, Release The Beat and Golden Boy. Mykal is a key part of ICTheatre and will be a continuous point of reference for students.
