Darren Bennett

Visiting Faculty / Dancer & West End Performer

Darren Bennett is a hugely experienced and talented Musical Theatre actor. He joins the faculty fresh from the UK Tour of The Judy Garland Songbook and the West End cast of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. An established leading man he has enjoyed success in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Singin’ in the Rain, Merrily We Roll Along, Cats, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Little Shop of Horrors and he even got the opportunity to play Gene Kelly in Ol’ Blue Eyes Live on TV.

He is a former cast member of the famed Hot Shoe Shuffle and further credits include; King Connelly in Build Me Up Buttercup – Dominion Studio, Man in Longer than it takes to Say Goodbye – Kings Head, Boromir/company in Lord of the Rings, Mr Gault in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane at Theatre Royal, Brighton. Darren has had considerable experience in running workshops.
