Break a leg to Mia Longman and Megan O’Hara performing in ‘Sleeping Beauty’

29 November, 2021

As we move into December, this week we will be featuring some of the professional work our Graduates are up to this Christmas.

Break a leg to Mia Longman and Megan O Hara, who are both starting rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty, running from 10th December – 9th January at the Devonshire Park Theatre Eastbourne.

You can find out more about Eastbourne’s legendary pantomime here.

Our Student blogger Charley recently caught up with Megan:

“I’m lucky that I’ve never put myself in a box and considered myself just an actor, or just a dancer. I’m happy to branch out and try my hand at anything. I recently had to learn sword-fighting for a live event playing Boudica – it was a learning experience, I got paid and had fun, so those kinds of jobs are always worth it!”

“If we’re talking big future goals, then it’s Christine in Phantom and to create the role of Kate Middleton in The Crown, but working to that I’m happy to pay my dues and work my way up to those roles – every job is a valuable one.”

Over the next few weeks we’ll be celebrating the success of our 2020-21 #ICTheatreGraduates. Graduate destinations have so far stretched the music and gaming industry, feature films, TV series, commercials and mainstream theatre.

There has also been entrepreneurial success with many businesses spring boarded from their third year Production Project module. We are so proud of each ICTheatre journey.
