Toby Hinson

Principal Lecturer - Musical Theatre

Toby has Musical Theatre running through his veins, as a young performer he travelled to London to pursue his singing and acting career; crossing paths with the likes of Sylvia Young and Kiki Dee who pointed him in the right direction.

Toby’s performances have taken him from London’s West End and regional UK theatres, onto oceans on cruise liners, into Europe and around the Globe. Toby also has experience in voice-overs as well as appearing in numerous television programmes and films. Most recently Toby has been playing PT Barnum in The Greatest Showman Tribute. Previously he was Musical Director, Vocal Coach and Mentor at Stonelands School of Ballet & Theatre Arts.

Toby is also Choir Master/ Musical Director to The Caravanettes, and now a valued member of the ICTheatre faculty.
