Simon Lea
Northern Ballet School / Pianist
Simon Lea was born in Liverpool and studied piano with Martin Roscoe.
He was later awarded a scholarship to study at Birmingham Conservatoire where he won all of the major piano prizes and graduated with the award for the best first-class honour’s degree.
Simon became interested in dance accompaniment shortly after completing his studies and has been a pianist at Northern Ballet School ever since. He also regularly accompanies for the Lowry Centre for Advanced Training in Dance and the Cecchetti Northern Associates.
