Michaels journey into health & fitness began at the age of 16 when he took up the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do which inspired his path to study Exercise & Health Sciences at Salford University.
After graduating Michael worked as a health coach & personal trainer. In 2007 he discovered Yoga & gained his qualification in 2009 which allowed him to share his knowledge to some of the best-known gyms & studios across the Manchester area.
In 2012 Michael joined the faculty at the Northern Ballet School initially teaching body conditioning & Yoga then adding Pilates (in 2018) to his area of expertise. Michael’s passion is to offer classes that are fun, friendly, enjoyable & effective in aiding each student’s development holistically both in & outside of the realm of dance & the performing arts’
