Musical Theatre Lecturer

Jason’s CV is extensive and impressive. He was nominated for an Olivier and What’s On Stage award (which he won) for the role of Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton at Victoria Palace Theatre, and for the role of Bobby Dupree in Memphis The Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre. He was also Olivier and What’s On Stage nominated for the role of ‘Jacob’ in ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ at The Playhouse Theatre.

Jason has 3 affiliated “Best New Musical” Olivier nominations for shows he choreographed, Soul Sister, Porgy and Bess and The Big Life (also What’s On Stage nominated).

Jason can be seen in the 2019 feature film Rocketman as Wilson, starring Taran Egerton and directed by Dexter Fletcher as well as having multiple TV credits to his name.

Commercially he has danced with and for Mel B, The Spice Girls, Moorcheeba, Toni Braxton, Eternal, Michael Jackson, Muse and many others.

Alongside many theatre credits, Jason has choreographed for TV and Stage – we are very proud to welcome Jason to the ICTheatre family.
