Piers Gielgud

Entertainment Business Studies, Cultural Perspectives & Research Methods

Piers trained as an actor at Bretton Hall College and as a dancer and choreographer at the Ballet Rambert School, from where he graduated with Distinction. He then joined the Corps of the English National Ballet before joining Lindsay Kemp’s company as a Principal.

Following a successful dancing career, he formed his own company Reanimator in 1992. As well as successfully touring his own company for 10 years, he also devised and delivered Government funded training programmes and co founded the highly successful theatrical agency Reanimator (now Gielgud) Management.

Since 2003 Piers has enjoyed a very successful career as a Choreographer of Feature Films. Career highlights include being called a genius by Oscar winning Director Oliver Stone and teaching Oscar Winning actor Robert DeNiro to waltz.

Piers is also a Graduate and Post Graduate of BIMM Brighton.
